What to Bring

Whether it's your first time or you're a seasoned sauna goer, it's always nice to have a checklist!

Towels x 2

One for sitting on in the sauna and one to dry off with.

Water

Stay refreshed during your sauna time by bringing a reusable water bottle, we have drinking water available at the sauna for refills.

Swimwear

Our top tip is to arriving with your swimwear already underneath your clothes so you can get in the sauna faster.

Flip Flops

Convenient footwear for moving between the sauna and sea.

Warm Clothes

Warm, dry clothing to change into after your session.

Top Tip!

To get the most out of your experience, we recommend spending no more than 10-15 minutes per round in the sauna, then dipping into the sea, cooling off with a water bucket or just stepping out into the cold air for a short time - then repeat! This way you will gain the full benefits of hot to cold exposure.

Health Benefits

Did you know that sauna and cold water therapy has a whole range of potential health benefits?

One of the main reasons that people visit a sauna on a regular basis is because it is known to reduce stress and anxiety. We all have friends that we would like to entice out of the house more often. Apparently the Finns say that a sauna is a ‘poor man's Pharmacy’, that alternating between the hot sauna and the cool water has many benefits. Spending time in a sauna, for at least 5-10 minutes each week can help you in more ways than one.
